In this case, remember to also take the “cable for hollow cathode lamp” (ref. SE0268).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt can also be used for Neon or Argon \/ Neon lamps, used on LISA, Lhires III or UVEX.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTechnically, this power supply raises the voltage, to excite the gas of the lamp. The ignition voltage depends on the gas; for example 60V is enough to excite Neon, while it takes more than 230V to excite Thorium. Then, the current is regulated at the chosen level (a few mA for Neon, and about 10mA for Thorium).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn addition, the power supply has a power limitation to reduce the risk of damage to the lamps.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis power supply is therefore suitable for any lamp requiring up to 300V to be excited and up to a current of 35mA. Suffice to say that it can power almost any gas lamp.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 3-pin male connector alone is available as an option (Ref.
